5. Sin, Original and Personal
17. We believe that God created Adam and Eve without sin. When they chose to disobey God, sin came into the world.18. We believe that every person born since Adam has a sinful nature. This is called original sin.
19. We believe that original sin causes us to turn away from God.
20. We believe that God can cleanse the sinful nature through entire sanctification.
21. We believe that personal sin is knowing what God wants us to do but deciding not to do it.

9. Justification, Regeneration, and Adoption
34. We believe that we are justified when we repent and accept Jesus.God no longer considers us guilty of our past sins.
35. We believe that God gives new spiritual life (regeneration) to the person who repents.
God makes it possible for him to live as a Christian.
36. We believe that the person who has been justified and regenerated becomes a child of God.
He is adopted into God's family.
37. We believe that justification, regeneration, and adoption, happen at the same time.
They happen when a person repents and receives Jesus Christ as Savior.
38. We believe that the Holy spirit tells a person who repents and believes, that he is a child of God.

10. Entire Sanctification
39. We believe that God wants every Christian to get rid of the sinful nature.40. We believe that when Jesus Christ died on the cross to make atonement for our sins,
He also made it possible for us to get rid of the sinful nature.
41. We believe that when a Christian is entirely sanctified he gives all of his life to God.
He willingly follows God's plan for his life.
42. We believe that entire sanctification cleanses the Christian from the sinful nature.
It causes him to love God completely. It gives him power for a life of service.
43. We believe that after a Christian is entirely sanctified, he must still do his part to live and grow as a Christian.

Those who do not repent will spend eternity in hell.
