Debbie, a graduate from MANU with an emphasis in church music and voice, has served the church as a worship leader for twenty two years. Her experience extends from the local church to various retreats and conferences. She holds a Commission Minister of Music License in the denomination. Her responsibilities have ranged to directing multi-age choirs, special events such as: our Singing Christmas Tree, Fourth of July celebrations, Easter presentations, and worship team vocalists and instrumentalists. The purpose and goal of the entire worship ministry is to lead the congregation, by example and service, sharing Christ through our lives and musical gifts. (Romans 15:5-13, Col. 3:16-17.)
Pastor Tom and Debbie have enjoyed thirty years of marriage together and are extremely thankful for God’s gracious gift of children, Tiffany and Derek. Debbie is a full time elementary school teacher with the Apple Valley Unified School District.
She writes, "A few years back when seeking to find direction for my life, God gave me this scripture as a promise: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, " declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 29:11) I am humbled by His leading and blessing on my life."
